tomorrow is my 20th birthday!!! i’m super excited. today i spent the day cleaning. i was determined to declutter my space and i helped my sister declutter hers. i woke up with the urge to clean because i wanted to start my new year off right! my new year starts tomorrow and i’m so excited. i used to clean a lot more than i do now, but it was because life was easier and more fun when it was clean. one of my old friends told me that i cleaned in efforts to maintain control when i felt that nothing was in control. i think that’s true. cleaning empowers me. i feel happy and refreshed. a clean space means a clearer mind. i focus better and am much more productive. to me, a good clean is taking care of me and my emotional self. you need that clean. so go clean and feel the greatness of it.
